C Sailed the Sea
A said to B, “Let’s visit the sea!”
C overheard, feeling thrilled.
Then C was sad--they bypassed his pad
carrying pails to be filled.
A noticed C. “Come join me and B!
We’re catching waves, wind, and sun.”
Now feeling good--he’d misunderstood--
C sailed the sea, having fun.
This is my 50 word entry for Vivian Kirkfield's #50PreciousWords contest.
The rules? Write a story for kids 12 and under in 50 words or less. So challenging, but so fun!
